  As was previously stated by other reviewers, they too purchased my loan. The website was unfinished by the time my loan was transferred and I was unable to remit payment within any amount of reasonable time. After a two-hour hold on the phone, a practically-sobbing woman who self-described herself as a loan manager informed me that they were not actually prepared technologically to handle so many loans at that time. She explained that I needed to have patience with them. They (supposedly) neglected to withdraw a monthly payment, even after reconfirming that my auto-draft was in-fact enabled. I scheduled a one-time payment, which took place of the auto-draft for that month. Even after talking with a representative, they still somehow managed to not withdraw the additional payment. Ironically, the website does not show that I owe any additional payments. If you would like to have days of time collectively wasted, and millions of brain cells killed via stress-induced seizures, this company is perfect for that. Otherwise, go with a more well-known lender. --- I would like to append the above review. This applies only (to my knowledge) to loans which were purchased from Magnolia Bank. Citizen's First Wholesale Mortgage Co. reports to credit agencies for direct loans from them, however, they do NOT report for loans that were acquired or otherwise purchased. Home mortgage is the backbone of your credit score and WILL damage it without proper reporting. I HIGHLY advise those who had their loans purchased refinance to get away from this company.

  I agree with other reviewers. Our mortgage was purchased by CFW Mortgage earlier this year and I have had to contact them almost every month since because there are always issues. Phone calls are returned about 50% of the time (when dealing with a major escrow issue, I finally insisted that I would wait on the line instead of leaving a message) and they have the WORST online system. I can never tell if it's accepting my payment or if there's a problem. I don't get an email confirmation when making payments. There's just no excuse for this in 2017. Also, when I address issues, I often get a response like "oops, we had a glitch in the system, it's fixed now!" But to me, it sounds like the "system" is just a scapegoat for this company that doesn't have their act together.

  This company just bought my mortgage and it has been a disaster. I have talked to them more in one month than I talked to my previous company in the year they owned the loan. They claimed everything would be seamless, and it has been far from. It was hard to pay the mortgage the first month because they didn't have enough time to process the purchase. They didn't bother paying insurance out of escrow. They said that autodraft would not carry over, then drafted a payment anyhow (causing a double payment). Every time you call, there is no one to talk to., instead they call you back. So it turns into a game of telephone tag. Most recently I got a call for some reason and no one can tell me why. I'm waiting for that call back. I can't wait until they sell my mortgage to someone else.

  1 star is to kind !!! Constant game of phone tag , they have to have someone call you back ! Ridiculous!! I waited a week the first time to handle business from the loan transfer, some business can't wait that long , finally had to call them back , and this morning the half assed website won't allow me to cancel the online payment.. !!

  My wife and I used Wells Fargo for a loan, after having them for years with our prior home. When we decided to move to The Villages, Wells Fargo couldn't complete our loan in time, after they promised all was well. Citizens overnighted paperwork, and findished the loan within 8 business days. I was very impressed with their level of service, and they delivered on all arranged agreements.
